WhatsApp, a messaging platform owned by Facebook is apparently taking a shot at a new feature that could allow its users unsend or revoke messages which are embarrassing after they have been sent, the Mirror reports.
WhatsApp currently have 1.2 billion monthly active users, the app supporting 50 global languages, and the unsend feature will be of great help for billions of users across the world. There has been news circulating about the feature being implemented into app for quite a while and many users can’t wait any longer.
Whatsapp users’ prone to typographical error or texting while drunk will be more happy to hear of the development, although the unsend feature could have a major effect on all users.
WhatsApp users will be able to unsend text, videos, images, documents, GIFs and status replies sent within the time frame of 5 minutes.
As said above, the messaging platform will get the revoke feature implemented in the Beta version 2.17.30+ of the app. At this moment, the Android application's version number is 2.17.190. This simply means that we need to patiently wait for them to fully include this long awaited revoke feature.

As indicated by the Twitter account @WABetaInfo, which initially uncovered details of the WhatsApp “unsend" feature, it may be rolled out on WhatsApp's next official iOS update. The revoke feature (called now "unsend") should be available very soon, but probably we should wait the next iOS official update before.— WABetaInfo (@WABetaInfo) April 17, 2017
