Instagram Launches Mobile Web Sharing Features To Be A Step Ahead Of Its Topmost Rivals

Ever since Instagram was introduced as a photo app, its users were only able to browse, Like, follow, search, and see notifications on a lightweight mobile website and desktop site. Many users yearned for more advanced features such that could allow them to post photos and other activities to the social network using mobile website.

The Good news is here! Instagram’s mobile website has been given an extensive upgrade which adds important features of the main app, including photo sharing and the Explore tab.

This new move by Instagram is intended to help individuals have a top-notch experience on Instagram regardless of what gadget or network they are using. It also puts in consideration users in developing world (not leaving Africa out) who may not have a fast mobile network to download Instagram’s app or limited due to data cost.

It is believed that these new features introduced to the mobile website will help Instagram to be a step ahead of its topmost rival, Snapchat.

We hope that more Instagram users will start posting from the mobile website not excluding using the newly introduced features.
